Since 1999, we have consciously established a reputation by forming long-term relationships with our clients and builders based on an enduring commitment to design excellence and outstanding customer service. We have successfully designed over a 1000 houses in more than 36 Council precincts and have extensive experience in complying development applications and complex sites.
We work closely with our builders to establish long-term relationships whereby we provide a truly collaborative and supportive setup for our clients.
Nicole Porter

Nicole has been working in the architectural profession since 1994. She is a specialist in residential design and documentation, feasibility studies and brief development. Nicole is also a chartered member of the Building Designers Association and has helped create designs for homes that have been winners in the Housing Industry Association, Masters Builders Association and Building Designers Association Awards.
In addition to having knowledge of numerous local and state government controls and guidelines, Nicole has worked on many projects on challenging sites including: bushfire, flooding, landslip, urban bushland, rural, riparian zones, foreshore scenic protection, major roads, railways, heritage items, heritage conservation areas, threatened species and non-compliances with state government controls.
Wendy Bates
Wendy has developed House Plans by Design by attracting new clients through thoughtful marketing, a transparent consumer-focused sales process and an excellent systems-based business – ultimately providing clients an outstanding customer service.
Wendy has a hands-on approach growing the business through the implementation of best practice technique, good management and past experience. Over the years she has developed property, designed and built new homes and renovations, managed two architectural practices and two building companies in Sydney.
