Federation Home

This is a brand new house in a designated character area in Gladesville.  Our clients wanted a large Federation-style home for contemporary living, and designing a three-storey home to appear single-storey from the street was no mean feat.The final result was achieved by stepping the floor levels to follow the slope of the land, incorporating attic-style rooms in the roof and a semi-basement garage. Traditional materials, finishes and architectural features are consistent with original homes in the street and ensure the exterior of the house blends seamlessly with the streetscape.
